I learn that back then the British wanted to tax the colonist they welcomed. And the East Indian Company had an surplus of tea and parliament shipped half a million pounds of tea to America at a low price with an tax of 3 cents a pound and the colonist didn’t want to pay less for their tea.
What surprised me the most was that the next morning they got up the tea was floating on the surface of the water and men dressed up like Indians did it. That stood out the most because the tea was destroyed.
